It is mosthighly recommended for students and for established investigatorsalike, for anyone who needs to know how to access and use theinformation derived in and from genomic sequencing projects. I found it to be the most useful book on bioinformatics I have seen and recommend it very highly. This Third Edition reinforces key conceptsthat andress stood the test of time while making the reader aware ofnew and important developments in this fast-moving field.

We are all in their debt. For biologists approaching this subject for the firsttime, it will be a very useful handbook to keep on the shelf afterthe first reading, close to the computer.
