But, gaspiny, that’s just what he did. His relentless bitching about it makes it sound that way. The picture it presents is of someone who got a dream chance a regular gig on national TV and how he dealt with it.

Read this book probably around or and it was one of the first books I consciously picked out. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

Those Guys Have All the Fun.

Mohr disses all his fellow cast members and writers in the first half of the book, but la Jay Mohr is so personable on his podcast “Mohr Stories” that I couldn’t wait to read the book about his years on Saturday Night Live.

It’s not surprising to see him bend over backwards for the one with the most power, but it was so over-the-top that it didn’t seem like Mohr at all. Problem was, no one did coke [anymore] and we were expected to keep the same hours.

Overall rating No ratings yet 0. I think Jay Mohr feels luckier than many others. But at least he didn’t bad mouth Lorne, which is what a lot of people do in books like these usual, which is a nice change.

I think you’re supposed to commisserate and feel sorry for him, but it’s honestly hard to do. It has never been funny. Jul 25, Greg rated it liked it. Due to his bad attitude, his needlessly gossipy stories none of which are particularly great, if you ask me – plus they’re listed on the back coverhis admission of stealing work and generally being a pain in the ass, I’m frankly surprised that he’s ever worked again.

Further with just two years on the show, his story is incredibly limited and lacks a narrative that would have been more interesting had he been on the show for a longer stretch of time. But he also met some encouraging people Mike McKeon [ sic ] and was able to spend a little time hanging out with various luminaries Eric Claptonso even though he moans and whines about what he endured on the show, he ends up describing the experience as glorious.
