I find that I enjoy this series and will definitely be continuing the ghoulish adventures. The Story Harper was struck by lightening and was given an amazing power. The Harper Connelly books were written concurrently with the Sookie novels. We appreciate your feedback.

At times I felt the artwork was almost too exaggerated, especially when it comes to bodies and facial expressions. This book, which is an adaptation of the novel, was great! The plot is thin, the characters are cardboardey, the MC’s are weird and not very likable – and ms Harris keeps mixing up her facts, which ruins books for me.

I really enjoyed the concept, the characters, and the story here and I’m hooked. Their actions don’t seem to make a whole lot of sense except to propel the story forward, which even in a graphic novel is an issue for me.

Nor is it narris or at least Harper does not label herself as a psychic. I am re-reading this series, but this time the audiobooks. Living Dead in Dallas.

I don’t know why some readers are freaked out about the relationship between Harper and Tolliver, her “brother”. I’m glad they both have personas and everything in them makes me scream “moar!!

I don’t mind hardcore scene but I really do hate useless drama based on sex. After holding down some low-level jobs, her husband Hal gave her the opportunity to stay home and write. And while it doesn’t bother me I could see how people would be a little creeped chxrlaine by it, especially since they refer to each other as brother and sister in the books.
